Dreamers, lovers, and pink enthusiasts, this Barbie wedding is for you! Soft, romantic details met big, bold colors in Madison and Tyler’s wedding design to create a dreamy ambiance for their nuptials. Their epic elopement day put a modern Montana twist on a Barbie wedding, adding a dose of elegance and sophistication to the doll franchise we all know and love.
This couple was inspired by the confidence and charisma of Barbie herself when planning their dream Barbie wedding. They also stayed true to themselves by holding an intimate wedding with just 15 of their closest loved ones. With a dazzling hot pink wedding day and a breathtaking adventure session, Madison and Tyler’s wedding weekend was a true celebration of all things love, nature, beauty and of course, pink!
Barbie Wedding Inspiration:
Montana itself is a never-ending fountain of inspiration, from the magnificent mountains to the sparkling lakes and rivers to the mysterious and moody forest. Our couples often draw inspiration from the stunning landscape when designing their wedding, whether that means incorporating mountain details on their wedding cake or infusing earthy, natural colors and textures into their reception tablescape.
Montana also has a rich culture and history that we love using throughout a wedding design. We are big believers in the fact that your wedding day is a story and a reflection of the journey you took to get to the altar. That’s why we enjoy including personal details no matter how apparent or subtle, from table numbers with pictures of you at different ages to serving your guests your favorite flavors throughout the meal. Huckleberry is the state fruit of Montana and we love having a huckleberry signature drink, gifting guests mini jars of huckleberry jam, or serving them huckleberry filling in the cake.
When planning their Barbie wedding, Madison and Tyler knew they wanted to utilize hot pink, but they also knew they wanted to pay homage to Montana. Thus, we crafted their wedding color palette to include: magenta, blush pink, tangerine, fuchsia with notes of amber, pale blue and lavender. We integrated lots of natural texture inspired by Glacier National Park, including wood and rattan. We also planned for their signature drink to be Huckleberry Lemon Squeeze, a tribute to our beloved state’s tradition.
Most importantly however, we designed Madison and Tyler’s Barbie wedding to be a unique experiential event for them and their guests. We ensured that there would be plenty of time for this couple to enjoy the company of their loved ones without ever feeling rushed.

…and much more! When you work with us, all you have to do is simply pick out the items you’d like to use and we’ll deliver and set it all up for you, along with any other personal décor you may have. It’s a win-win!
Outdoor Hot Pink Wedding:
Madison and Tyler’s Barbie wedding took place at Great Northern Resort. They held their ceremony outdoors in the venue’s Ceremony Meadow, where we set up a square wooden arch decorated with a hot pink floral spray. We set our “Welcome to Our Happily Ever After” sign at the entrance to the ceremony and affixed floral arrangements to the cross back chairs along the aisle.
When it was time for the ceremony to begin, we invited Madison and Tyler’s guests to take their seats, lined up the wedding party and cued the music. Tyler made his entrance to the song “Beyond” by Leon Bridges, wearing a dapper navy blue suit with colorful floral tie and hot pink and orange boutonniere. After the rest of the wedding party, Madison walked down the aisle to “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles on the arm of her father.
She was a real-life Barbie that day in her white wedding gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves and floral detailing from top to bottom. Her soft blonde waves and bright bridal bouquet complemented the dress perfectly, giving Madison’s bridal look a dreamy and romantic aura.
This Barbie wedding ceremony was as sweet as this couple is, but nothing could compare to the joy that tangibly pierced the air when Madison and Tyler officially became husband and wife. They kissed and then threw their arms in the air from excitement and joy – Our favorite moment!
Barbie Wedding Reception:
We can’t go any further without gushing over this Barbie wedding reception design! Complete with lush florals and just the right combination of colors, this tablescape has to be in our top 5 favorites we’ve done! It took place outdoors adjacent to the Ceremony Meadow in front of the venue’s signature canvas tent.
There, we set a long wooden king’s table with a hot pink table runner. The florist placed the most fluffy and gorgeous flowers in rectangular boxes and bud vases down the center of the runner and we accented these with light blue taper candles and gold votives. Each place setting had a rattan charger with personalized menu cards, gold flatware, and amber water goblets. The sunlight and overhead twinkle lighting helped cast a romantic glow over the entire area, making this Barbie wedding reception a true dream!
That evening, everyone enjoyed a beautiful meal together, played lawn games, clinked champagne glasses as heartfelt toasts were delivered, and indulged in the delicious cake. Good music flowed while the conversation and fun never stopped. There was singing, dancing, laughing, and good eating, so we would say this Barbie wedding was a hit!
Glacier National Park Adventure Session:
The next day, the newlyweds embarked on their adventure session in Glacier National Park with their photographer. Holding this photo shoot the day after the wedding was intentional, so that they didn’t feel rushed on the wedding day and got to maximize their time with their family and friends. So the day after, they were able to relax and explore the park while capturing epic photos together without worrying about the time. The pressure was also off since they were already married!
Check out some of the incredible shots they got!
