Fall Elopement at Bowman Lake in Glacier National Park

It was such an honor getting to work with Sonia and Tyler. Their Fall elopement at Bowman Lake in Glacier was nothing short of pure magic.

On the day of the wedding, it was pouring! Montana is beautiful, but the weather can be unpredictable and you have to roll with it. Of course, that will put a little damper on your day. It's understandable. However, Sonia and Tyler were troopers and weren't going to let anything prevent them from having the best day ever! They were in such high spirits all day!

When Melanie got to their getting ready spot to start hair and makeup, Sonia and Tyler welcomed her and her hubby with open arms! They became instant friends, which is amazing. They even ended up getting breakfast and exploring Glacier with them a couple of days later! Hearing that, melted our hearts. We really have the best couples and the best vendor team!

The drive up from West Glacier to Bowman Lake is a bit long...and when it rains the dirt roads can get super muddy. But, it's so worth it! Sonia and Tyler hit the road and met Kelly and Gavin at the Polebridge Mercantile. From there, they caravaned up to Bowman Lake where they met Kate.

No joke you guys, as soon as they got out of the car, it STOPPED RAINING!!! And it didn't rain until everyone got back in the car to leave. How amazing is that?

Things calmed down, the lake became as still as glass and the most beautiful fog rolled in. Bowman Lake never looked so beautiful! It really is amazing what Mother Nature can do.

The ceremony was beautiful. The backdrop was jaw-dropping. Our newlyweds were so in love. It was a magical day!
